After submitting the lake bed issue to a committee the Burden Lake Association is having a meeting Tuesday October 18th at 7pm to hear their recommendations.
The subcommittee studying the proposal for the BLA to join the Burden Lake Preservation Corporation
(BLPC) met twice, once with representatives from the Burden Lake Preservation Corporation. A final vote of the subcommittee, conducted in person and by email, showed 5 of the 7 members in favor of joining the BLPC,
1 member against, and 1 not voting. The members of the subcommittee feel that it is important for all members of the BLA to attend the next meeting to vote on the recommendation of the subcommittee and determine how
to proceed in the future.
